Greetings from Brigham City, where summer is in full swing!

We realize it's been a while since you've heard from us, and we just wanted to let you know that things are still "cooking" as it were, and progress is being made on the latest Sacred Groves project.

We've just posted another clip from the April interviews with Adam's Road, and you can view that by clicking here.

It's been about two months since the last posting, and the main reason for that is that we have been getting ready for the "big" edit...that is, getting all of the material organized, logged, and transcribed, so that we can begin in earnest in editing together the feature-length documentary which will both be viewable online and on DVD, as God enables.

The 9-minute clip we've posted here discusses something that we as Christians hold extremely dear--the written Word of God, the Bible. While in Florida in April, we interviewed eight people at length, and one compelling thread that went through all of their stories was how the Word of God--and coming to trust it as such--had an life-changing impact on them, as they were wrestling with questions about Mormonism. Okay, now here's a bit of housekeeping, so bear with us for a moment. We're still in the process of fine-tuning our mailing list and email communication system; and so starting with the next mailing, we will be splitting this mailing list into two different lists. Many of you joined this mailing list through the Sacred Groves website, and others are on this list because you opted on to the Main Street Church mailing list. Until now, these have been one and the same list. However, to make sure you only receive the information that most interests you, that's about to change.

Here's how it will work. If you signed up via the Sacred Groves website, you'll be placed on the "Sacred Groves" mailing list; likewise, if you had opted in through Main Street Church (e.g., when you purchased something on our online bookstore), you'll be on the Main Street Ministry mailing list.

You don't need to do anything. However, the next mailing we send will be on the split mailing list, and it will give you the option to subscribe to the "other" mailing list, if you so choose. You don't have to, of course, unless you want to be on both lists. You can always unsubscribe to either of the lists at any time.

The Sacred Groves mailings will focus entirely (or at least mostly) on this website and its testimonies, postings, and related topics. The Main Street Ministry mailings will focus on all the outreach efforts of the church, including the Sacred Groves project (though with fewer details), and other projects and ministry activities as well.

Either way, we still won't burden your inbox with lots of mail, and of course, we do not share our mailing lists with anyone else outside our organization...never, ever, ever.
